During the last week of February came to Inhassoro, President Michele Lepore Onlus Ipsia of Vercelli who followed a group of leaders of the Centro Turistico ACLI and another volunteer historian Oscar Sanchez.
Oscar had already spent a period of 8 months in 2005 as a volunteer Ipsia. Their visit here was brief, but definitely significant.
Oscar fact together with Alessia renewed the school's computer lab Estrela do Mar, where now the number of computers available for students had become too small. Thanks to their work could be installed 25 new computers donated to the school by a private donor. This change has allowed the school to provide two computer labs and thus facilitate the teaching.
Also, as you know the problems of communication through the Internet are still pretty serious, in fact the past three months is not possible to have secure access to the Internet. For this Ipsia, with the help of Oscar decided to give the school a satellite network. So this week Oscar has installed a satellite dish that could quickly solve the problem. Unfortunately, when it was not possible to enable this support due to computer some technical problems, we hope to be solved as soon as possible and equipping the school and the staff Ipsia an internet connection.
live without the Internet, is clearly not impossible, but it helps you to understand how the world is now highly connected, and how anything that happens will affect another, resulting in continuous and interconnection of events unraveled.
A Inhassoro the news is but an echo far away, very quickly read the headlines in those few moments when we can consult the internet shaky mission.
Live the feeling that "out there" are amazing things happening, events that mark the history of humanity, the last sad news of the earthquake in Japan, the riots and demonstrations throughout the Maghreb.
Paradoxically Inhassoro in life follows its course, one wonders, there are concerns, but then the problems to be addressed by simple platitudes how to organize a library, disinfect a room by bats, trying to activate an Internet connection or help someone pass a physical exam at school every day means continuing to believe that through cooperation and development between people meeting together we can achieve.
difficult to find in this huge country for one month and begin to tell a new life, a new challenge, a new match.
difficult start to feel part of a project, a new community and a world infinitely different, but infinitely challenging.
Mozambique Inhassoro, the Escola Estrela do Mar, a world that I got to know from a distance, in a long time ago, today is a place that becomes home to live, to heal, get to know and love.
tiptoe after two weeks in Maputo to learn the language better, this week we begin to work in the school. We Arianna Bobba, civil service for a year and Alessia Parnisari, voluntary Ipsia for 5 months.
Our tasks are very different, I will try to follow the work of Ipsia in the school, the administrative part, but also playful, Alessia instead, a graduate in mathematics, will address the academic support of students in science and will also take care to follow the activities of the computer lab.
Already immersed in reality this different approach with "African spirit," our days, aware that our presence here will be just one step in a prolonged visit to two guests immensely intrigued by this mysterious land.
in recent months will try to keep you updated as much as possible (although the Internet is currently a problem to solve) about events and news happening in school, trying to tell the life Inhassoro and Mozambique, we will then give you some short and some reading, "sober it imensa varanda sobre o"
The man inside the acrostic
"A fabric of other texts" is was the first definition (stolen) I has occurred to the reading of Acrosintagmi Vittorio Dotti: compositions enveloped in their vertical movement, a literary fragments of others.
Vocation postmodern, one that moves our author to limit the parasitic texts that feed on other texts? Metaliterature evocations: the creation stems from a other text, the words come from other words in a refurbished library of Babel where it all breaks down in verbum , in a reference to a constant reference ghostly, elusive.
Or maybe it's quell'intertestualit à (exhibited in this case) that some is matrix of each literary experience, which always winds through the voices of others: no monad is possible in art, is a continuum of echoes, reminders, answers polyphonic orchestration bachtiniana ancestry.
The authors start from a line of others, sometimes their own, composing poetic "phrases" harnessing (or test) its inspiration: the verse must be intertwined, cling to verses of others, that function as a sort of time-driven but also as Montalian path traced by which the author can not ò deflect.
is the desire to test with a difficulty à additional? The idea is not new: the 'Oulipo French is exercised in the practice of forms Literary restricted, or is a way to defend themselves, to "contain" its own expression that has to deal with letters to others who hold on? Perhaps Dotti does not trust freedom à could imbue creative and bring it to show their nudity à ?
Actually à , if we analyze the content of the compositions, got into a plausible portrait of the author: preclude an individual who is the fullness of life ('needs by rejecting even lawful and purging), a fugitive existence, unable to close its eyes to the squalor of a progressive mean real who courageously denounced the cowardly acquiescence of the mass, but being wary of love, need tinsel, false consolation of which can exceed the limit only because of the mask dell'insincerit à . The reader can then seems voyeuristic enjoy the nakedness of the author - but how many peel cover and defend us against us by the exhibition of ourselves true? The Acrosintagmi of Vittorio Dotti, after all, seem precious fabrics veils: embroidery wise and reassuring transparency.

the "Ponchielli"
acrosintagmi and images of Vittorio Dotti
"sedimentation" is the title of a new exhibition at the Library of Vittorio Dotti Ponchielli of Cremona. It is a sequence of thirteen pictures, taken in black and white and printed by the author with analog technology. The salient feature of the proposal is that every frame, in full harmony with the environment gathered in a library, is accompanied by a text 'poetic', also by Dotti, a text that somehow anticipates, complete and expands the meaning contained in the subjects.
From the point of view, the black and white photomontages (because it is the superimposition of faces on rocky concretions or vegetable plots) clearly refers to the productions' abstract 'Best of Nino (think of "Walls" and "hydrographs", "Cellogrammi", "Pirogrammi" the versatile photographer Emile), as well as some interesting works of the Cremonese Antonio Leoni ("The petrified", "Metaphors and Metamorphosis") , not forgetting, of course, disturbing and suggestive "stains" Alfredo Conti, recently exhibited with great success at the Centre "Agora" of Castelverde.
married literary texts to the images are called "acrosintagmi", that is, according to the definition given by the author, in a "chain of acrostics developed sequence based on a metric cell, typically consisting of a short quote poetry, which is also a semantic irradiator. As we understand from the definition, it is strongly bound by the formal texts, sometimes to the point that their decoding 's a bit uncomfortable, but in these cases is the most immediate visual language to come to the rescue, making the acrosintagmi almost always readable. At least, in the author's wishes, proposing his 'experiments', well aware that visitors to the Library Ponchielli people are generally willing to be intrigued by unusual intellectual stimulation.
The exhibition is staged at the
